These stunning antique Garnet drop earrings are Victorian, Circa 1880.
The central gallery is decorated in old cushion cut Crystals leading to a beautiful 5ct Garnet set in a closed backed 18ct Yellow Gold gallery
The Garnet has been adored throughout history for it’s blazing red colour which hides beneath it’s dark surface. It is said to be a stone of purity, truth and a symbol of love and compassion.
The central gallery is set in Silver and fitted with Gold shepherd hook wires.
The earrings dangle beautifully from the ear and are steeped in history!
